The one on the Tyan site is a slightly later revision. I will have to see what it adds or deletes. > From my reading - it's simply a matter of using a jumper to enable the > use of that MAC item (I know nothing about those either - having > never encountered one - yet) as the LAN2 connection - by default it's > disabled. I don't have any idea what driver you'd have to use for it! :-\ I too saw that it has a jumper to enable is but it was not until you reminded me that I realized that it could (might?) be used a s a second LAN connection. I could have one card connected to the Internet, the other to my router (but how would the others get on the Internet?) > When I read above document I was under the impression it was part of the > nVidia chipset - note the block diagrams in above. Yes, I believe you are right about where it resides. I suspect that there is no os/2 driver for it. > > I have noted in the past that one has to usually query with the > seller exactly what is comprised with the items! It is best to ask here and maybe in Russia where a lot of OS/2 development is done. I think a MAC (NOT Apple) Is a specific thingy for networking. I wish someone would explain. I guess the weekend is a bad time to post new topics. Martin Yahoo!
