If anyone is really interested, the Harry Lorayne memory books, of which the easiest to absorb is the "Page-A-Minute Memory Book": http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0345410149/qid=1103075519/sr=8-1/ ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/002-9665164-9599247?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 offer an easy way to remember any numbers. You have to memorize a table of consonant sounds that correspond to numbers: 1 = t, d 2 = n 3 = m ...and so on, and then you can make words out of the numbers: 12113 could be "tanned dame" (you go by *sound*, so the double 'n' in "tanned" only counts as one '2'). Then you use his standard techniques to remember the phrase and associate it with whatever the number represents. -- Steve http://www.qmss.com/sewing --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
