Good point-- I find the *commercial* Humvees to be intimidating.  FWIW, I
also don't care for the most common version of the Land Rover to be found
here-- it looks like you could tip it over by leaning against it: this is
the one, I think, the Discovery:

My grandmother used to work at British Leyland in NJ, later
Jaguar-Rover-Triumph; and my mother took her job when she retired.  I have
here on my desk a pencil cup from them with some 70's-era cars on it
(Austin America, MGB, MG Midget, MGB/GT).
