Hello all.

I have an External Netcomm Smart Modem 28.8 and whenever I use ATZ it does not work!
Whenever I log onto one of the local BBS's it just connects and then bout 5
- 10 seconds later it just brings up tonnes of beeps and all of this
computer language.And no ANSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am now using another string but that turns off error correction
and all of that!
I also believe it is the string which does not let my modem Autodetect ansi
when someone logs onto my board.
Anyway does anyone know what the prob could be and if you know any other
strings which may work with my modem correctly so that it does everything
it is supposed to then could someone let me know????????
