JE:-
It does not matter at all what definition of relative fitness
you are using. Any relative assumption is a minimally bilateral
assumption, i.e. a comparison of at least two unilateral
fitnesses no exceptions. Any unilateral fitness is a total. Any
suggestion that just a relative fitness assumption is required to
test evolutionary theory reduces the theory to a non
testable infinite regress where relative fitnesses are
endlessly compared to other relative fitnesses. Unless a
fitness maximand is explicitly identified within evolutionary
theory it is reduced to nonsense. I have provided that maximand:
Darwinian fitness. Hamilton et al have not provided
any competing maximand. Until they do they are only talking
relative fitness, nonsense.

To save time and effort please
complete the form:
"A DECLARATION OF MEANING"
I have no intention of repeatedly
asking you what you mean by x....
I have no idea what you mean by:
1) Absolute fitness.
2) Reference absolute fitness.
