subject: Duke playing speed

-> Hello All!
-> I got some probs with Duke Nukem 3D. The Demo-Version ran fine, I
-> liked the game, so I bought the full version. But when I play it and
-> there are some (or even one) enemy, there are lots of jerks. Same
-> thing if I collect an item. It seems as my PC would load something
-> from the HD in this time. Now my configuration:
->       Pentium 60
->       SB 16
->       8 megs RAM
I'm not sure of this, but a 60mHz machine (even a Pentium) with 8 megs
RAM is probably pretty slow for Duke3D. Maybe another 8 megs RAM
would make a difference.
Also, how large a cache does your machine have (I assume 256K on a
Pentium but not necessarily)?
And any TSRs?
