I have looked at the diagnostics section in control panel.  It displays at
the bottom of the window a section of command replies (??).  The only thing
that confuses me is that sometimes when I go back to look at this section,
it is different!
I have checked for any obvious address conficts, IRQ conflicts and the like
but everything should be OK (it isn't).
What makes my problem more perplexing is that the modem works completely
successfully with DOS programs such as Doom, Warcraft 2, COMIT, etc.  I
give those the same settings as in Windows and they have no problems.
Device Manager says that the device is working properly and there are no conflicts.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
