There's a big problem with Sauer's  (and a lot of other people's as well)
thinking here;


It isn't the `oil speculators' that drive the price of oil......its the
producers.


A `speculator' is only a person who is betting on the price of oil. They are
buying oil at a certain price, and `betting' that it will go up much higher
than they bought it for.


Much like Hillary Clinton `speculated' on the commodities market, and made a
`windfall' profit of a hundred thousand dollars or more, with a paltry few
thousand initial investment....which she didn't even put up (someone else put
it up `for' her).


A `speculator' buys a certain number of barrels of oil at a certain price,
with the idea that, given market trends, political situation, etc, the price
will rise far more than what they bought it for.


But.....if the price suddenly drops dramatically.......they lose!


A `speculator' has nothing whatever to do with what the price is.


Its *supply and demand*!


Recently.......some democrats were whining that, even if we `did' allow
drilling to take place, and built more refineries.....it would be ten years
before anything good came of it.


But the democrats (and pretty much the same ones) were spouting that same
horseshit ten years ago. And if there'd have been drilling and building of
refineries done back then.........we'd have our own oil, at a decent price,
and gasoline would probably still be less than two dollars a gallon!


So......the oil situation we are in right now, at the mercy of foreign
sources of the major portion of our oil, sources that hate our guts and want
to hurt us as bad as they can.........we owe all that to the goddamn fuckin'
democrat sons-of-bitches in our congress!

I like the way the liberal left worries about `lost revenue'. You ever watch
the Congress or Senate activities on CSpan?


The guy behind the desk will call for the clerk to read some bill somebody is
proposing....the clerk starts reading off the number of the bill, rattles off
the title of it, says a few words on the bill's supposed intent, and ends
with; ".....and for other purposes."


Its that ".....and for other purposes."  that you gotta worry
about. Because
that usually means there's something in that bill that the politicians don't
want you to know about until the bill is passed and signed by the president.


And sometimes you almost never find out whats wrong with it until you see tax
money going somewhere stupid,,you say `hey whats this!', and they tell you...
..well.....`you' voted for it!

Obama is a member of the U.S. Senate. Ann coulter is not. It isn't Coulter
who decides what the government does with the taxpayers' money....its Obama.
