OK, Disable v.34+ (S56). Call another v.34 modem and see if your transfers 
are any less robust.:-)
In short, v.34+ has nothing to do with good code for the v.34 implementation. 
The v.34 code prior to the July flash was just not up to it. The "other" 
enhancements were Srej, and them fixing the code.:-)
