Same here. At Des Moines Iowa Civic center, they've gone to lengths to make
the room good acoustically, but then, they didn't go the extra mile and put
in a good sound system, and they hire a guy I've called "BOom Boom" to run
the sound. Boom Boom is just what his name implies. Squeaks, squawks, and
crappola even into the headliner's act. Last show I went to see there was
John Lee Hooker, and, I snuck up by the stage where I could hear the
monitors, (They sounded better than the fronts )
