Yes they are free as long as you don't sell them.
So I have gotten them from all  over the world.
Now George Mccoy and I are writing {commo} macros to use ppp.exe and
tcpport.exe to get/send mail /news and a host of other things on the
internet.
We will make dos work.  after this is done all I need to do to make
newsgroups available via my bbs is write a little program to convert the
news format to macrobbs.
hahaha! cool ha?
Now as soon as we get this package together I will let ya all know about
it over this echo.
Also I will make sure you all can get it via freq and several other
ways.
The package will be free!!! yes free!
If you can set it up your self then it stays free.
If you need tech support / help it may caust a tech support fee.
A few questions are still free but making sure you get on the net, a
nice manual, etc will be a support fee.

ou would not be able to do any good with ppp.exe with out the macros.
That's the reason I am saying wait 'till the package is available.
