FAS and FAE (Fetal Alcoholic Effect) do have some symptoms which are similar
to ADD: we suspected my son had FAE and were rather surprised when the
diagnosis came back as ADD. Of course, when we realized that there are
treatments for ADD but not FAE we were thankful.
