It was 22:49:54 12 Nov 98 in C_ECHO, when the peace was suddenly disturbed
by Darin screaming Visual C transcription at Dave Giunti. This then
followed:

IIRC, the standard C++ library can be included, it's the libg++ one that
can't (GNU extensions, most of which are unneeded now that the STL comes
with egcs). At least I think this is the case with egcs, I'm not sure about
gcc8 (and I would not recommend anyone use gcc 2.7.x for c++ development,
as it was released a while before the standard was decided upon).
