Nope.  That model Dynalink is based on the USR Sportster, which does not
have flash-ROM, just your average EPROM.  Ergo, the only cure is to
physically replace the EPROM (sadly, a non-socketed SMD device).  It has
also been suggested that S12=0 fixes the problem, but I'm not in a position
to verify this.  Aside from that problem though, they're a damn nice modem.

I spoke with Dynalink just yesterday, and they did actually acknowledge the
problem, presumably because the buggy model has since been replaced by a
fully functional version (one of which I'm about to evaluate).
