Hello, T.J..
Monday October 12 2009 at 21:16, you wrote to me:

It's no speed demon, for sure, but it's rock solid reliable. I actually
found (and purchased) on eBay four font cartridges for the DJ500-remember
those back before there were fonts built into an operating system?
In draft mode, the 500 is actually a bit faster than my Epson,
but there is a quality difference, of course. For what I normally print,
like receipts, notes, an occasional manual and web page, the DJ's fine for
what I need.
I bought the DeskJet for $5 from a thrift store. I bought my 132-column,
24-pin Panasonic KX-P2624 dot matrix from a thrift store for $5 also. So
there's always good finds. :)

Sean
