Simple choice, diplomacy etc or an IED next to his hummer.

Ask which they prefer, being nice to fellow humans who are daily in far
more risk than them (i.e the average Iraqi non-combatant) or having someone
heave them out of somewhere minus a limb or indeed only views post event of
the pearly gates.

It is in their self-interest just as getting on with your neighbors is in
your self-interest & not pissing off the local police in your home town
is in their self-interest.

Dunno coz they're miles away from any nasties & the sorry to hear bob's
dead letters are lazer printed.

My guess is that the people to influence would be (as ever) the colonels
& people of that ilk/rank.
