subject: Invaders tell Mexico they

Hello Mike,

>
>..We want AMERICA... Migrant caravan REFUSE offers of housing and jobs in
> Mexico

Their destination is the land of freedom and opportunity, not
southern Mexico.

>MIGRANTS that are currently marching north through South America towards the
> USA reportedly refused offers to house and employ them in Mexico.

South America is to the south of where they are going.

>Authorities south of the US border have stepped in to offer aid in the
>form of food, shelter, medical care, as well as education and jobs to
>those in need.

Two states in southern Mexico have offered to house those who
choose to seek asylum in Mexico. But few have chosen that option,
as those areas are almost as poor as the lands they are from.

>But the thousands of Central American migrants have reportedly refused all
> offers of help ... saying they want to get to the United States.

I can't say I blame them.

>Mexico...s President Enrique Pena Nieto made the generous offer on Friday,
> telling the caravan migrants they could apply for refugee status in his
> country provided they agreed to stay in the two southern states.

Words. Empty words. The Mexican president knows full well that
none of the refugees will accept his "offer", as his "offer" is
meaningless. He is just playing a game to show his Latin American
compatriots that he is more compassionate than his gringo brother
who sits in the White House in DC.

>However, a show of hands vote held in the town of Arriaga saw hordes turn
> down any help, with the majority insisting their final destination had to
> be the US.

When they arrive, we should greet them all with open arms.

>Mexican authorities said approximately 8,000 people are walking towards the
> border, with a further 1,000 following behind.

If the Mexican president was as compassionate as he claims to be,
he would provide busses for them all to travel on, their fares paid
in full by the Mexican government.

>The country has allowed them to travel across its territory but has so
>far refused to offer any aid, insisting that must be for those who
>register legally.

How nice for the Mexican president to insist they all travel on foot.
Including women and babies. With, or without strollers. Can't have
any of them on busses, as none are insured. And we all know that would
totally bankrupt the Mexican state.

>US Defence Secretary Jim Mattis has now authorised the use of troops and
> other military resources at the southern border as the Government seeks to
> stem the flow of people illegally crossing in the US.

What are US troops supposed to do, once they arrive at the border?
They cannot cross the US/Mexican border, as that would cause a war.
Not that we haven't invaded Mexico before. Are US troops supposed
to shoot the refugees before, or after, they cross the border into
the US? Well, we can't let a group of poor and destitute mommies
with little babies bring us down, can we? We'll just have to protect
the homeland from those evil invaders ...

>NO: The migrant caravan refused offers of food, jobs and housing in
>Mexico (Pic: GETTY)

Much better to die martyrs for their cause ...

>The US military said Secretary Mattis had authorised the military to
>provide "mission-enhancing capabilities" to US Customs and Border
>Protection, including engineering support to help build temporary
>barriers and housing.
>
>It is unclear if the soldiers will be armed.

So. Will we house them, and feed them? Or simply shoot them
and be done with it?

>President Donald Trump has taken a strong line on the migrant issue,
>writing on Twitter that he was "bringing out the military for this
>National Emergency. They will be stopped!"

With what? President Trump's bellicose words mean nothing to migrants
who speak only Spanish (and babytalk).

>HANDS: Migrants voted with a show of hands not to accept the aid offer

These are hardworking migrants, not a bunch of lazy bums!

>The caravan, which began in Honduras nearly two weeks ago and picked up
>other Central Americans along the way, has angered Trump, who has
>maintained a hard-line on immigration.

President Trump should take a stroll with them. Would do him wonders
to shed a few pounds. Maybe more than a few pounds.

>Congressman Adam Smith, the top Democrat on the House Armed Services
>Committee, condemned the mobilisation of forces.

Donald Trump could be their platoon sergeant, marching them all
the way home. Where that home may be.

>"There is absolutely no reason to further politicise and militarise this
> humanitarian crisis," he said.

Hut two three four, hut two three four, hut ...
