subject: Pdox45 moving data to new table

Hello All!
I am pretty new to Paradox so please bear with me. I decided to convert
my old data into a relational setup. I have two road blocks standing in my
way:
1) How do I copy selected fields from one table to a newly created table? I
want to do this so that I may split my original table into three tables.
2) I have an alphanumeric field that I want to convert to a memo field. When
I do this, it crashes Paradox when I attempt to restructure the table the
next time.

Subj: REPORTS

thanks, Borland is getting to be a big pain. I'm a registered user and I
found out several months a go that there's a fix out; but I was never
notified.
