Good assumption. =) I'm not trying to start a war of engines here. Just
relating my own experiences/observations.
> I meant a 305 was quite responsive to a 4 barrel and manifold change
No disagreement. =)

That I can't comment on. Walk into 10 yards here, and you'll have 10
different prices on the same thing.
Though, I got to say I got a good deal on my semi-built 350, same price to
redo the 305. I only got a penalty for my 305 core exchange. ;)

We better watch out, people will start to comment on our disagrements. =)

Very Well. I won't knock the 283 again.
>heads will outflow anything short of a Ford Boss motor ;> that means you

Maybe. =) I might be switching the truck to propane.
However, while I don't like the high gas prices we have, I don't mind
feeding my 350's the Shell Gold at every fill up.
>driven anywhere for alot less money invested. I have always maintained

Just to satisfy my curiosity, I'm going to ask some 283 questions for
comparisons sake for my area. See what I can locate in the wreckers, see
if I can get a turnkey, degrees of hopping up, etc. It'll be interesting.
