subject: Re: new opus stuff

For me, I plan to use opus anyway. it works. it meets my needs and its
reciving more popularity here in CT again. several Maximus sysops are looking
to instal it now.
One Proboard sysop is going to be installing it. and I will
be helping him get it up.
AS I heard said in a photography Magizine. refering to older
cameras " Its not obsolete unless, 1. You cannot get parts for it anymore and
it needs repair. 2. It no longer meets your requirements"
Opus parts can be easily obtained, and it meets my needs very well. Plus
since I do have the Opus 1.73 Structs I can easily cobble something in
GWbasic for opus if I need to. but translation frm C structs to GWBASIC is
not exactly fun. My co=sysop is planning to write an opus specific online
game. so Opus isn't gone (YET).

P.S Incidently I am running opus barefoot again as something is wrong with
Binkleyterm 2.60. Worked great on XT but crasho at midnight on 386. sounds
like a programming error to me.
