Well, I'm not sure of the type of info you are trying to input, but there
are a several ways to do this.
1. ASCII text file. ASCTEXT will read in an ascii file into autocad such
s
your TXT file.
2. Use a conversion program such as HiJack to convert a TXT file to a DXF
file. I tried an example with HiJack and it worked.
3. If you are using a package such as winfax, check the export options. I
have WinFax lite, and it will export to a PCX and TIFF file, that can be read
into AutoCAD R12 and up. (pcxin and tiffin) As for editing these files, it
may not be what you are looking for. AutoCAD creates the image by using the
solid command. Once you explode the image, it will just be a bunch of solid
objects, but then, it may be all that you need.
I hope this helps,
Brian
