4DESC was one of the ones I tried.  I found it a bit featureless and slow.
I already have the version you mention on a disk, but I can't remember if
this is the ver I tried. I thought it was shareware. I'll have another look
at the disk to confirm.  Thanks anyway for the offer of sending it to me.
