Smarty! I must be the last person in the world to know about that
switch to be used with XCOPY! . :=)
Yes, Frank, it worked beautifully! What I did was to make a DOS
Batch file with one simple line: XCOPY /M %1 A:
Put a shortcut icon of that Batch file on the Desktop. Open Explorer
and click/drag any file/folder to the shortcut and stand back! Only
files with A bit set are copied, then the A bit is cleared. I use this
for my Iomega ZIP drive backups without compression. I do a DIR of
the ZIP floppy >> ZIP.CAT and keep that up to date for searching for
something specific with LIST. Guess DOS isn't dead yet. ;=)
