This sounds like it's an error in your dialing/login script. I have
installed a couple of sites with E11Fs, using the IAK, with CompuServe as
their provider, and have no problems. Do you have VJ compression enabled ?
Try toggling the state of that flag.

BTW, the init$ I would recommend for the newer E-series beasts is
AT&F&C1&D2S11=55S7=60%C2W2.

Do you mean you can establish a PPP connect, or just an ordinary terminal
program connect ? The fact that you can use SLIP normally indicates you
don't have a modem problem, this is an IAK setup problem.
