Well, I do not not know what you are talking about with all of of this
Techno Babble. I will be 69 in 2 months. I have considerable Medical
problems and my Doctor suggested walking. The old Arthritis is too
bad for walking but I have found out that it is much easier to ride
my old delapidated Trek 850 bike. As for this "Spinning" whatever
that may be, I don't know about. What I do is get on the bike and
start peddling in a lower gear and when the pedal strokes become
too fast to be comfortable I shift up. If the road begins to climb
and it gets difficult to pedal I gear down. I do not try to race
down the road at break neck speed, I just go as fast as I feel
comfortable with. When I get to hyperventilating and begin to have
labored breathing I have to stop and take a puff or two from
my Proventil, or Bechlometha inhalers. If this technique is not
according to the experts and primadonnas, then so beit. It is
what I do.
