A better question is.....what business is it of anyone's what a person chooses
to drive?

I drive a 1978 Oldsmobile. I might get around 10 or 12 miles to a gallon. I've
had it since my mother-in-law died (about five years now).

Every once in a while someone will look at me getting into or out of it in a
parking lot and ask me why I don't drive a car that gets better gas mileage.

I just tell them `buy me one and I'll drive it!' That usually ends the
conversation.

An even better question would be `why doesn't *someone* get a job with a `car
maker'......and give that car maker the benefit of all that sage know-how they
think they've got as to what the American driving public would buy.
