| subject: | Call Waiting |
ML> I'm pretty new on the modem scene and I was just wondering if anyone ML> in Australia, knows how to setup their modem so that it disconnects ML> the previous call so that you can answer the incoming call. Obviously... ML> I have a U.S. Robotics Courier. 33.6K. At least you have a good modem.. ML> Any assiatance you can give me would be extremely appreciated! Nope, not possible.. You can of cause set your modem to dissconnect when another call occurs, most modems do this automaticly, it's called line noise.. You should NEVER have call waiting installed on a modem line.. Ask your telephone provider how to switch it off.. --- M A X's BBS 1.54* Origin: BaseCom BBS Prospect NSW +61-2-671-6149 (3:713/823) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 620/243 623/630 640/820 711/401 413 430 808 934 712/311 SEEN-BY: 712/407 505 506 517 623 624 628 704 841 888 713/317 700 709 823 904 SEEN-BY: 714/903 905 906 909 914 926 930 932 936 960 772/20 774/500 800/1 @PATH: 713/823 714/930 906 712/624 711/934 |
