Hi Pat, > hi janis .. free(_psp)! > that was the necessary c code. Everytime I post a message, my bbs name throws an operator or two in When I named my bbs, I was looking to "shift" some narrow-minded individuals ;) >just courious.. I haven't bbs'd in years.. you've got 8 gigs of various codes? No, wish I did ;) of just PDN code in various languages, etc there is quite a lot.. I believe Erik Van Riper started the PDN in the early-mid 80's, and I've been coordinating it since about 1991-92. So that's a bit of 'stuff'. If I had to guess, I'd say a bit over a gig is PDN.. The rest of the files on my system are online as result of my work with FileGate Project and 3Com, and moving them to the filebone. Last night I replaced my 1.2 gig drive (poor guy died..) with a 5 gig so I haven't restored the backed up files yet in the empty pdn areas.. maybe tonight > .sigh. My worst habits just came up. > I'll sponge later.. That's what the files are here for :) > perl is a c derive.. Nah.. seems more like a shell language to me, but I admit, I don't use it > java looks like a sub-set of c++. > know any others that look like c, feel like c and code like c? Java . > .I'd like to know how many of my tricks i can saftly transferr to other codes > without a lot of experimentation. If you're comfortable in C, you'll enjoy java. > oh.. if ya like SF stories.. www.phoenixgrp,com/pat I do, and I'll check it out ;) Take care, Janis --- BBBS/L v3.33 How* Origin: Prism BBS telnet: jkracht.aye.net 23xx (1:2320/38) SEEN-BY: 396/1 632/0 371 633/260 267 270 371 634/397 635/506 728 639/252 SEEN-BY: 670/218 @PATH: 2320/38 270/101 396/1 633/260 635/506 728 633/267 |
