Well IF I'm buying a known style from a known company I will. But that's
only because I know Johnson and Murphy, Alden etc will be the same size (
of course I usually buy the same style or VERY similar). First pair of a
different style will be regular store. .
Never tried Paul Fredrick, Dress shirts are Brooks Brothers. Last for a
long time, Don't think I've bought a new dress shirt in over 5 years ( and
have some I haven't worn in longer than that). Brooks Brothers
causal I haven't bought since I got the 4 in varied sizes all marked XXL
. Causal I usually buy right after Christmas I've spent $10 to try
a $50 shirt. if I throw away $10 or $20 before I find the right size I
don't care. Golf/Polo are usually Lacoste or Ralph Lauren Polo. Lacoste are
great but I've never found them on sale. Still worth it. Polo well, their
sizing may vary one size from the marked size.
Belts I won't buy only except from LL Bean. I like large belts ( 1 1/2 inch
wide) but after buying several online I won't try online again unless it's
a known belt.
I guess overall I will buy online if it is a known product or a real real
good price , otherwise it will be a regular store. I don't like trying new
manufacturers. Once I find what I like I'll stick with it until they change
then .....
