Hi! Alan, In a message to All you wrote: AZ> http://zite.to/1ga9hh6 Your note has come at just the right time for me (us). We got hit by a malicious email thing a couple of months back, that I fixed by re-doing from backups (vBox .vdi HDD image, plus other sources). The first action of the email activation was to disable MSE, then to install its own fake AV software, etc, etc. You're no doubt aware of such things. It was a shock for me as the last time I saw any sort of virus thing was 25+ years ago, in a computer lab at a technical college. Since my wife still insists on using Windows, I'll be looking for something else. Perhaps we'll go for Avast as it seems to get good recommendations from our Fidonet friends. Ermm... MSE can be disabled/uninstalled by the 'admin', can't it? Cheers, Paul. ...
