AW> How do I change the colors of sprites?
Point the cursor at the sprite in 3D mode, then press .
It will allow you to enter a value for the sprite's pallette.
Here are a bunch of the palette values and what they do, numbers
skipped usually don't have any known effect. The references to
clothing is usually referring to a stripper sprite, also those
are used on pool balls.
# Description
0 Normal color scheme. Keycards with this palette
are Blue.
1 Blue. Also sets items to appear in multiplayer games only.
2 Red.
3 Normal. This palette can be used on the ceiling to make
a BIGORBIT parallaxed sky non-lethal, and on the floor &
ceiling to make a subway engine under a parallaxed sky not
shoot RPGs at the player.
4 Black -Solid black, if you shift all the walls in a room to
this, you won't get any depth perception. You can also use
this to make forcefields invisible.
6 Nightvision green.
7 Yellow. (kinda greenish)
8 Green.
9 Normal
10 Red clothing
11 Light Green clothing
12 Light Grey clothing
13 Dark Grey clothing
14 Dark Green clothing. Also used on Nukebuttons to secret levels.
15 Brown clothing
16 Dark Blue clothing
17 Blue skin - Green clothes
18 Light Grey clothing
19 Red skin - Grey clothes
20 Blue skin - Grey clothes
21 Red clothing. Also used for a Red Keycard. This palette is
also used to make a MiniBoss.
22 Light grey clothes
23 Yellow clothing. Also used for a Yellow keycard.
24 Red & Blue clothing on troopers
25 Turns accessories on strippers red.
26+ Odd color scheme that seems buggy. Sometimes you
won't be able to change the palette back after doing this.
