Mine arrived direct from Askey last week.  Supposedly the very latest
version, although the dates certainly don't indicate this.

More likely newer stock, with an earlier EPROM revision, but I can
definitely vouch for the fact that the V.42bis pausing bug doesn't exist in
this version.

Half your luck!  My lines are still fairly marginal, with S/N ratios
anywhere between 27db and 40db.  So much for Telstra's consistency...
