I prefer to buy clothing locally. I will buy from a few select vendors as
long as it is a known style. of course to a great extent men do have it
easier than women. At least our styles don't usually change that much. Of
course quality control now sucks. I have bought 4 shorts from the same
vendor, same style and the difference in sizes was HUGE. Laying the shirts
on top of each other there was a difference of 6 INCHES in width.None of
the 4 was the same size except on the label. And this was from a good
vendor.
LL Bean otoh seems to be consistent in what I buy.
