  I find this hard to believe - the fallback technique is if you can find
the executable, just boot BartPE and remove all the executables. Disconnect
from the internet and remove all registry entries and BHO's that might
force a reinstall.   What techniques do they use to resist removal?

   Although one thing that would be impossible/hard to remove is if they
have piggybacked onto system executables and cannot be detached / cleaned.
