Hi, I am a Junior at Appalachian State University. I am majoring in Business
Education. I get my first "step" out into public schools next week. ASU just
devised a plan this year to get prospective teachers into the classroom
before
student teaching. One day a week, I will help a regular classroom teacher
teach her class. Everyone seems to think that this will help the student
to be more comfortable when he/she begins student teaching.
I was wondering if any of you would have some advice for me to follow when I
get into the classroom next week. College professors can only help so much,
and I need "real-world" advice.
Thanks,
Tina
