| subject: | Belkin Router DMZ |
Hello All, This is kinda BBS releated. I'm thinking of putting my BBS back up, but in order to do that, I need to put my BBS machine on my router's DMZ. I'm not having much luck with it and I was hoping somebody could help me out. When I try to connect, instead of forwarding the port to my bbs machine, it just shows the modem login screen. I have a Belkin Router attached to my DSL modem. My DSL has an IP of 192.168.2.1 My Belkin Router has a WAN IP of 192.168.2.2 The LAN IP is 192.168.3.1 My BBS machine has a static IP of 192.168.3.111 the Belkin DMZ is listed as StaticIP:192.168.2.2 -> PrivateIP 192.168.3.111 and it is enabled. Yet, when I try to connect to my assigned dynamic IP, it just takes me to the modem, and it isn't forwarded to the BBS machine. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to remove it from the DMZ? I also have the virtual servers set up to allow access for http, ssh and telnet to the BBS node too. Any help would be appreciated. --- Mystic BBS v1.08 A31 (Linux)* Origin: Clutch BBS * telnet://clutch.darktech.org (1:250/310) SEEN-BY: 10/1 11/200 331 14/250 18/200 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 187 140/1 SEEN-BY: 222/2 226/0 236/150 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 SEEN-BY: 261/1411 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 396/45 633/104 260 267 285 SEEN-BY: 690/682 734 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 303 SEEN-BY: 5030/1256 @PATH: 250/310 100 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
