HI
First off, if you are interested in learning C I would suggest using the
C_echo. (:-). I know C better the C++, but if you are interested in 
programming for windows use C++. As far as a class of a book, it depends
on how you learn the best. In my experience books are faster, but a class
will expose you to different view points and ways of doing something.
When I have the time I prefer classed. Good Luck.
