Is it the butterflies feasting on yout broccoli and kale, or are
they laying eggs and it's the caterpillers feasting. It sounds
like cabbage worms possibly. The butterfly for them is white. The
best treatment for the caterpillers is Bacillus Thuringiensis.
You should be able to find it at your garden center. It's a
bacteria that gives the worms a stomach ache, they stop eating
then they die. It's not harmful to people so you can use it right
up to harvest. You can get it in either a dust or a liquid that
you mix up and spray. It's considered organic.
