Perhaps. I first thought his calculation was suspect, but then I
realized that while the government *claims* it's only taking 40% of
incomes, we're paying another 27% in taxes hidden in the prices of
everything we purchase.
It also doesn't matter that he ignores corporate taxes because those
"corporate taxes" eventually are paid by Joe Citizen, who purchases the
goods or services those corporations are selling.
