No, If I saw the letters SDL and then the words Software Down Loader, in the

same sentence then putting 2 + 2 together (using logic) I would assume

that they meant the same thing. I cant help it if that is the way I think.

And I was NOT trying to be smart. It was common sense to me.

And I know that too, going on your past modem purchases. 

If you did buy a courier you would not be asking the sorts of questions

you are and you would know what an SDL is.



On top of this, you would not be concerned with init strings or hints on how

to setup your modem, as it is all done for you. Buy anything less and you

get none of the professionalism that goes with a courier.



You  will never miss not knowing what an SDL  really is now...will you
