Toronto doesn't have one indoor track. Surprising isn't it. There used to be
a track near my house that was indoor and ran offroad and onroad. People from
as far as Montreal Quebec came to race. There are a couple of places planning
on opening indoor tracks in the summer. Plus small groups of people are
holding events at parking lots or in school gyms so this summer looks
promising.
East Coast Model Centre has a track according to the RCCA track listing..
have you ever gone there? And I remember that PEI has a high provincial tax
so it must be killer to be into the hobby especially r/c cars.
Since I know quite a few people with r/c sedans it's not that difficult to
organize a small race. I'm in the hobby for fun. Racing is an option for me.
Plus if I started racing it would cost me another $200 to buy spares, higher
end packs, motors, and other miscellaneous parts. Racers want to be on the
cutting edge and that takes a lot of money.
