Well i run IIS and Apache on my windows box, and i also have a linux box.. but
perl is perl all the same. So with that being said, i have my MAIN server
production box on linux, since linux *IS* more stable, and i run all my testing
on the windows box, with the perl scripts and everything.

I remember installing perl the first time on windows.. was hard.. but once i
got it installed, it was on like donkey kong.

perl is a good language for manuipulating strings and files which is a big deal
when it comes to doing things over the web.. plus the coding is actually pretty
easy.. i mean compared to some of the other languages i have written.. although
i have made VB work as a cgi portal for apache in windows.. That was a task
making VB write out to the STDIO interfaces... but once it did, i could make it
do whatever i wanted to do..

The same with perl, its so easy that i can manipulate and doing anything i want
to with it. Very nice.. i learned perl original on linux.. hell i have a linux
perl irc server which helped me learn alot, and i have had other perl scripts
on my boxes which have helped me along the way.. if you only knew the amount of
stuff you could do with perl, you would crap all over yourself. :)
