Why do you call this a disadvantage??
I dont believe it forces a lock anyway, unless you specify the speed on the
command line, tho I didnt read into the docks that much.. Just enough to get
the board on line.. :}
I've always found locking my comm speed between the comp & modem to give me
the best thruput.. Its not a major increase, but every bit helpz..
Let the modem handle the phone line..
JMHO anyway :}
