        Thank you all for answering my recent post. I have now bought an
US Robotics 33.6 int. fax/modem. I installed it on a VL-Bus slot because one
of the regular ISA slots is blocked. I didn't feel like moving out the 
cables in its way.
        The modems works OK, but it has a conflict with the mouse. I'm sure 
both the modem and mouse use different COM ports and IRQ's. I used to have
an USR 14.4K external and it worked alright.
        The mouse works fine until I get a connect in Trumpet Winsock, then

just freezes. But shouldn't the mouse freeze as soon as I open Winsock?
        SHould I try to install it on an ISA slot?
