   This is probably the root of the problem, it's not as simple for people
as clicking on a web page.  For the most part, there are many viruses
posted in newsgroups, so this is a valid concern.  Newsgroups wouldn't pass
through the corporate AV filters on the way in.

   Many people aren't even aware of the wealth of knowledge that is out
there; they are vaguely aware of the 'groups' button option in Google but
they have never tried it.
