If you have the RAM to setup a RAM disk, it's worth trying a download to a RAM disk. Glad to hear that you solved the problem. I've recently found that DOS/4GW applications (such as Ripterm, desparately trying to stay on topic) lock up when used with Novell's Client32 and ISA Network cards capable of memory mapped operation (e.g. Intel EtherExpress16, SMC 8216, SMC 8416). When a software/hardware conflict involves three or more factors it can be difficult to isolate. --- msgedsq 2.1* Origin: Camelot Swamp MJCNA, Hawthorndene, Sth Australia (3:800/812) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 620/243 623/630 640/820 711/401 413 430 808 934 712/311 SEEN-BY: 712/407 505 506 517 623 624 628 704 841 888 713/317 714/906 772/20 SEEN-BY: 800/1 2 409 415 422 427 442 448 449 453 455 456 459 805 806 810 812 SEEN-BY: 800/816 822 843 846 @PATH: 800/812 1 712/624 711/934 |
