     I can attest to the fine sound of bright bronze strings.  I have used 
them many times on my 6-string.  Now, for the 12, about the only suitable AND 
good-sounding light gauge string for that beauty is the Martin silk & steel.  
ANY other set of strings I've used just doesn't hold up...something will 
break or go dead MUCH sooner than the Martins.
