My original post about SyncTerm was made in jest and to make fun of people
in the BBS world who continually try to make BBSing into something it isn't
and no lessons are ever learned.  When you've been around like I have (14
years now and I'm a relative newcomer to Fidonet) with the people I've been
exposed to, you start to look at such profound statements made by Stephen
and others with a jaundiced eye as many people in here do.

The majority of the echo denizens-and the people Robert was referring
to-have been here for a decade or more, not you.
