Depends. More or less plain text converts adequate. But as soon as you use
graphics and other 'advanced' stuff, the layout generally will be messed up a
bit. Requiring an annoying amount of cleaning up.

The master/sub-document 'feature' in Word 6 is known to be buggy. Avoid it
unless you are prepared to risk losing stuff. (Word 7 under Win95 is OK in
that respect.)

Yes. Barely. And watch out for things that do work in WP and don't in Word.
And do me a favor: if you find such things I'd like to know!
