Well, seriously the Sy85 is not as bad as you pretend.... there're nice 
sounds, 4 layers sounds, 256 simple sounds and 128 Multi but just 2 global 
effects for the 10 parts of the song mode.... and 28 polyphonic notes.... 
it's enough for non orchestra mode players ;) but i admit i don't enjoy the 
effects...
...but at that time, there were no better synthe in this way (of effects) but 
now there are.... even at low prices...
